andsucceeded again in the Mexirock style they made popular with their 1987 rendition of La Bamba The Neighborhood features greatguitar work beautiful vocalharmonies and a solid rhythm and horn section A blend of rock country RB and Mexican finesse shape the album into a diverse menu filled with authentic and genuinelyappealing songs Down on the Riverbed introduces the album in a bluesy tone A mellow beginning to analbum is often reflective of the tempo and mood for the entire work Instead The Neighborhood is a sparse collection of varied tracks each song is enjoyable on its own merits from
